Study of the alternative energy markets for the choice of investment or construction of alternative energy generation facility. The goal of the final qualifying work: The goal of this work is to make a marketing research of alternative energy market and find out its problems and prospects. Practical significance of the final qualifying work. The work give structured information and SWOT analysis as well as decision-making methods to help a researcher of investor choose the most appropriate alternative energy source. The structure of the final qualifying work. Final qualifying work consists of 85 pages and includes: introduction, 3 chapters, 18 paragraphs, conclusion, a list of 60 references, and is illustrated by 13 figures and 21 tables. In the first chapter “Marketing analysis of alternative energy market” we examine the problem, the necessity of decarbonization, analyze the market of renewable energy, consider what energy sources can be determined as alternative energy sources, the governmental support in this sphere, the changes and challenges of this market in common. In the second chapter "Alternative energy sources" we make a short review of each energy source included in this research, its nature, how it is used to generate energy, determine its advantages and disadvantages, find out the scale of its presence on the market and present some important parameters as a total cost for construction of a power plant, levelised cost for energy and capacity factor of the energy generating facilities. In the third chapter "SWOT of alternative energy markets. Choice of alternative energy source" we present an analysis of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats for each of the chosen alternative energy source carried out on the basis of information of the previous chapters. Moreover, we give an example, how to choose one of the alternative energy source for the installation of a power generation facility or investment using decision-making methods and information of the research. In the conclusion we analyze the results of this research and make conclusions in respect of acquired information.
